Author Biography

Eva Konstantopoulos is originally from New York. After graduating from Emerson College, she moved out West and worked at various entertainment studios in Los Angeles until entering The University of California, Riverside in 2007 to earn an MFA in Creative Writing. She has read screenplays for Plum Pictures, Lions Gate Films, Fish & Richardson, P.C., and the Nantucket Film Festival, and has previously worked as a pre-school teacher, movie usher, coordinator, office assistant, café barista, fieldworker, and bookseller.

Her short stories have previously appeared in Staccato Fiction, The Salt River Review, 322 Review, and SLAB, among others. She was the first place winner of the Equivocality Writer's Travel Scholarship, as well as a finalist for the Glimmer Train Short Story Award for New Writers and the Copper Nickel Short Story contest. Her feature length screenplay "The Virgin of Poughkeepsie" was awarded Best Screenplay at the Gotham Screen International Film Festival.

Currently, she lives and writes in Los Angeles.
